Although automatic, Android developers claim this new Autofill feature is safe to use, “because Autofill suggestions can contain personal data, such as passwords or credit card information, suggestions are hidden from IME until the user chooses them himself.”
This Autofill feature is claimed to be very similar to the UI on iOS. Although it remains the same as the previous version, user data will be maintained before use.
To enable this feature, previous users must first update the keyboard to the latest version. And if you want to try it now, users are only allowed to use party keyboards when Google has just launched a beta version. Meanwhile, the original version will be released next month along with Android 11.
