The appearance of the Planet Mars which is Green

JAKARTA – Mars is commonly known as the Red Planet. But it turns out that there is another side to the planet that makes Mars look green. Quoting from Scitechdaily , based on observations from NASA, Mars will look green at night. This is due to chemical reactions that occur on the surface of the Martian atmosphere. This phenomenon was detected from one of the MAVEN spacecraft, which orbits the planet Mars. Over the past few years, MAVEN has made observations in the ultraviolet spectrum and the result is that the Martian night sky is a greenish color. “The MAVEN images offer our first global insight into the motion of the atmosphere in the central atmosphere of Mars, the critical region where air flows carry gas between the lowest and highest layers of the atmosphere,” said University of Colorado (LASP) researcher from the Laboratory of Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP), Nick Schneider.
